Accessibility statement

The accessibility widget

A dedicated Kampi accessibility tool is installed on the site. It loads on every page of the site and opens from an "Accessibility" button fixed in the corner of the screen. Through it you can enlarge and reduce text, increase contrast, highlight links, stop motion, adjust spacing, and switch to a readable font. The tool uses buttons and a panel with a proper ARIA structure, can be operated fully from the keyboard, saves your choices in the browser, and does not transfer information to an external provider.

What was done on the site beyond the widget

• A semantic structure of headings, a main content area, and named navigation areas, so it is possible to find your way with a screen reader.
• Alternative text for all images on the site. Graphic icons inside links and buttons are marked as decorative, and the name read out is that of the link itself.
• Standard links and buttons that can be reached with the keyboard, and the browser's focus ring has not been hidden on the site.
• Respecting the system preference for reduced motion: scroll effects are shown immediately without animation, smooth scrolling is replaced with a direct jump, and the animations in the cookie notice, the chat assistant, the reel display, and the board tour are stopped.
• The chat assistant announces a new answer to screen readers, and its buttons and question field have names.
• Cookie control through a permanent link at the bottom of every page, not only on the first visit.

The standard we aim for

We aim for Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines of the W3C, in the spirit of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

The site has not undergone an accessibility audit by a certified accessibility expert nor a comprehensive technical audit, so we do not declare conformance with accessibility level AA. The adjustments above were made during the site's development and were tested by us alone.

What was tested and what was not yet tested

Tested by us:

• Keyboard navigation across the site's main pages.
• Loading of the Kampi accessibility tool on every page of the site and operating it from the keyboard.
• The presence of alternative text on all images.
• The site's behavior when the reduced motion preference is enabled on the device.

Not yet tested:

• Systematic contrast measurement across all color combinations and all screen sizes.
• Testing with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) by a skilled tester.
• The board tour on the demo page and the chat assistant, two interactive components that were not tested separately.
• Third-party components and content outside our control, including the Enable component itself and the external fonts.

Known limitations

• The site has no skip-to-content link at the top of the page.
• The focus indicator is the browser default on most components, and was not styled separately on each of them.
• There may be additional components or content that has not yet been made fully accessible. We keep checking and improving.

This statement applies to the Kampi marketing site at kampi.co.il, in both its language versions, Hebrew and English, operated by Ben Yacov Textile Solutions (an AB Sites brand), HaGoren 34, Atlit 3032434. The customers' board is a closed system at a separate address and is not covered by this statement. It is built in Hebrew and in right-to-left direction, its buttons and fields carry names for screen readers, and it opens in the browser on desktop and on mobile alike. It has not undergone an accessibility audit and has no accessibility widget. A customer who runs into a difficulty using the board is welcome to contact us using the details above, and we will look into a solution together.
