1. What information is collected
We collect only three kinds of information, each with a defined purpose:
- The business's contact details: name, phone, email address, and field of activity, as you gave them to us at your own initiative when reaching out or during the engagement.
- Data from the connected channels: information from the pages and accounts on the social networks you connected to the service, according to the permissions you approved.
- What is written in the site assistant: if you asked a question in the chat window in the corner of the site, the question and the conversation opened in that window are sent to our server to compose an answer for you. The full details are in section 5.
Beyond what is sent in the site assistant and basic server data, we do not collect information about visitors to this site, and we do not use marketing tracking cookies.
2. Data from the social networks
Kampi works with Facebook and Instagram only. When you connect a Facebook page and a business Instagram account, we receive limited access according to the permissions you approved, and we use it solely to provide you with the service:
- Reading the list of pages and accounts you own, so you can choose what to connect.
- Publishing the content you approved on the board, to the page and account you chose. Nothing goes live without your approval.
- Removing a post from the Facebook page, at your request, from within the board.
- Reading the public profile details of the connected channels, the follower count, and the last published item, in order to show them on the board.
On Instagram there is no deletion interface through Kampi, not for a post, not for a reel, and not for a story. That is a Meta limitation. You delete an Instagram post from your own account, and a story disappears on its own after 24 hours.
What we do not do: we do not read private messages and have no access to your inbox, we do not collect follower lists, we see the follower count only and not who they are, we do not share information between different customers, we do not sell information to third parties, and we do not use your data for our own marketing purposes.
Meta's permissions screen also includes ad account permissions, for future development of paid campaigns. As of today Kampi does not run paid campaigns and does not spend money in your ad account.
3. Ownership stays with you
The pages, accounts, and content remain fully yours. The connection to the service is a management permission only, and you can revoke it at any moment through the business settings on Facebook, without our approval and without losing content. Once the permission is disconnected, all access on our part stops immediately.
4. Retention and security
The information is stored on secure servers with established infrastructure providers. The account access tokens are stored server-side only, they are not exposed to the browser and are not shown on the board, and they are transferred over an encrypted, authenticated channel. Access to them is limited to those who need it to operate the service. We keep the information as long as the engagement is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for bookkeeping and legal requirements.
5. The site assistant
In the corner of the site there is a chat window that answers questions from the help center. When you send a message in it, the browser sends our server the question and the whole conversation accumulated in the window since you opened it. On the server only the last ten messages are kept for processing, and each message is truncated to 500 characters. The conversation is deleted from memory once the request is handled.
Some questions are answered on our server directly from the help center, without the text going to any additional party. When wording is needed, those ten messages are sent to Anthropic, the company that operates the Claude language model, which composes the answer. Anthropic's servers are located outside Israel.
We do not keep transcripts of the conversations and do not link them to your identity. The IP address the question was sent from is used solely to limit the number of questions per minute, and for that purpose it is held in the server's memory with a question counter, without being written to a database and without being joined to the other information kept about you. There is no need to write passwords or sensitive personal details in the chat, and we recommend not doing so.
If the assistant did not resolve the question, it shows a WhatsApp link that already contains the last six messages of the conversation. The link is built in your browser, and the message is sent only if you choose to send it yourself from your own WhatsApp.
6. Deleting information
You may ask at any time to review the information kept about you, correct it, or delete it. Send a request to info@kampi.co.il and we handle it within 14 business days, delete the data, and revoke the access tokens for the connected accounts.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this document if changes occur in the service or in legal requirements. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page, and for a material change we will also notify active customers directly.
